WB Summer Surf Camps 2023

7-14 Summer Camps

We are excited to offer 5 different 5-day surf camps this summer! (Dates are below)

All Camps will take place at Wrightsville Beach Access #34 next to Carolina Yacht Club. The camps will be five three-hour surf days from 8 am-11 am each morning. 8 am to 10 am surf time. Break time from 10:00-10:15. For the last forty five minutes, the campers can choose to surf more or take part in beach games!

Campers will learn a variety of skills and ocean knowledge throughout their session. Our goal week in and week out is for our students to be able to catch waves on their own . We educate our students on how wind, tides, currents and waves can affect surf conditions with an emphasis on how to stay safe and confident while in the ocean. Lastly, we try to influence our campers to be environmental stewards of their home beach. This could be from talking about native wildlife and little ways that they can keep their beaches clean.

All Summer Surf Camps in Wrightsville Beach are scheduled in line with low tides to ensure a fun and safe experience. All of our instructors are trained in-house by our experienced staff which consist of life long watermen and  former Ocean Lifeguards. The feedback that we have received from past parents validates our claim that our camp is superior to other camps due to our knowledge of the ocean and individual attention we pay to each kid that joins us. If you want your kid to build relationships and  overall confidence this camp is that opportunity!

*We will provide soft top surfboards and rashguards that students can hold onto throughout the week*
