My mom and I booked the Lea-Hutaff island kayak tour on a bit of a whim and are extremely glad we did! The owner was communicative and flexible and helped us move our tour around the weather. Our tour guide Austin was knowledgeable, friendly, and patient with us as first time kayakers. The prices are extremely reasonable and very worth the money for the experience. We’ll definitely book again next time we visit ❤️

Always wanted to surf but never went out until I took my first lesson with Connor. Great dude, chill lesson, & amazing vibes from everyone out there. Caught a couple of waves & crashed twice as much (that’s the fun part tbh) but felt safe the whole time. 10/10

I had a two hour private lesson with Jimmy and it was fantastic! It was my first ever time surfing and I got up on my very first try and then rode several waves all the way into the beach! Highly recommend.

We continually have wonderful experiences with Topsail Surf Adventures! We've been renting surfboards from Jimmy for a couple years and this year we signed up for a guided paddleboard trip with him. It was fantastic. Jimmy ensured that we saw all the wildlife possible since he knew that we were keen to see some rays and dolphins. He even got out a drone to look for them while we were on a brief pause during our trip in the inlet!

Absolutely incredible time finding the 5th oldest (1st oldest in NC) tree in the world with Topsail- Wilmington Surf Adventures. Our guides Hunter and Jimmy were awesome. Not only did we find the specific tree (Methusala, I think) we just overall had a great time in one of the best old growth forest in the country!Highly recommend.

What an amazing day surfing! The instructors were all great and made the experience so much more fun. They gave great instructions before going out into the water and were so positive and helpful throughout the entire lesson. Topsail-Wilmington Surf Adventures gave my family memories we will remember forever. I can’t wait until next summer! 10/10 experience!

We had the absolute best experience learning to surf with Jimmy and the other instructors! Jimmy was easy to work with, made learning to surf fun for myself and my kids, and was a great teacher! He had all the equipment we needed, and was very encouraging and positive. We signed up two boys for this program in July and it was AWESOME. The 8 year old does a lot of camps in the summer and we asked him last week to rank them. Unequivocally, he said "surf camp was number one!".The boys had a great time and loved Jimmy and the rest of the counselors. And of course, it helped their surfing a lot and got them out on the water.What a great camp. Thank you Jimmy and team!

My girlfriend and I had an awesome lesson with Jimmy. This was our first experience surfing and it couldn’t have gone any better. Jimmy took his time with both of us and made sure we each were able to stand up on a wave by the end. 10/10 would recommend.

Our kids have been taking part in adventures with Jimmy, Tyler, Ryan and the rest of the crew for a few years now. From afterschool paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing and surfing to surf camps in the summer. They never disappoint. The confidence my boys have gained both in and out of the water is priceless. Highly recommend this crew for any adventure you or your kids are interested in!

Our family enjoyed a relaxing morning exploring Bradley Creek by kayak. Our guides were fun, passionate and extremely knowledgeable about the waterways and wildlife in this hidden gem in Wilmington. They had marine bio backgrounds and shared many interesting facts about the ecosystem.
